Week 13

1. What your team accomplished this week
Wow! Dress rehearsal came fast! This week everyone on the team has been working on module 1, the video, and the presentation. Due to distance, we try to divide the work and use the computer and phone for discussion. This week our team completed module 1 activities, including a video that Clayton is designing around our scenario 1 content. A big “thanks” goes out to Clayton. We also have assembled our presentation for the dress rehearsal. Great job Mark! Lastly, I finished the content for all four modules and Lenrose did a wonderful job proofreading some of that content. It has been quite a busy week for all of us.

2. What you accomplished this week
The beginning of the week I spent working on the content. I finished all four modules. My goal was to ensure that each module had a definition, skill set, problem solving scenario, and follow up activities for actual use by the student. I believe we have very high-quality content. My hope is that our program will encourage higher level thinking and effective learning interactions for the students. In addition, I have been a jack of all trades helping where I am needed this week. Oh, I also reassured Clayton that I would try to help him after dress rehearsal with some of his dream weaver issues. Hopefully, I can be of some assistance to him.

3. What you need to do in the coming week
This coming week I will need to get the flow chart and story board document together. I am sure Dr. Barbour is eager to comment and signoff on this document. In addition, we need to develop the rest of the orientation. We have a lot of development left to do before we can run alpha tests; and also, a lot of work to do in the coming weeks before showcase. Hopefully, all will go well so we can rap up the development and tests. Lastly, I need to do some desk critiques because my fellow studio classmates probably would like feedback as soon as possible so they can make changes before showcase.
