Week 12

1. What your team accomplished this week
Well, we are all finally done with our exam. Yeah for Team ALIVe! This week we have decided to divide and conquer the work that needs to get done. Eun Ju and Jea are responsible for getting the module laid out in its user orientation. My job is to have all the content organized. Thursday we edited our first module; so that one is ready to go. I am working on the remaining three modules. Mark is communicating with client, consultants, collecting clip art, and overseeing the components of the module. We heard from Dr. Barbour in the middle of last week and are taking into consideration his comments. In addition, we are also going to have a partially finished storyboard/flowchart. We have found it easier to just lay out our work and then actually make a “formal” flowchart/storyboard.

2. What you accomplished this week
This week I have been writing the formal content that will be used in the orientation. Last week, I finished module one and had my team members edit it Thursday evening. This week I have been working on the remaining three modules. Again, I still feel it is my responsibility as the “instructional designer” to make sure this component is done. Hopefully, I will have all content ready by the end of this week or beginning of next.

3. What you need to do in the coming week
This coming week I will again need to spend more time working on the formal content. I also need to write a couple desk critiques. I had the opportunity to look at several projects last Thursday and still have not provided them with feedback. More than likely I will also need to help Jea and Eun Ju with some of the user orientation portion of our project. I will just see what they need help with. Due to the fact that the dress rehearsal will be this week, I am just going to be ready to do what ever needs to be done prior to dress rehearsal.
